SHENGCHENG
Since in 1979
Sheng Cheng Rope Industrial Co., Ltd. was originally established in 1979 and has always been primarily engaged in the production of ropes. In its early years in Taiwan, the company focused on ropes for outdoor products such as raincoats, lifebuoys, and tents. In 1993, the factory relocated to Bao'an District in Shenzhen, and since 2000, it has shifted its focus to manufacturing water skiing ropes, with over twenty years of experience in this field. In 2012, the factory moved back to Taiwan Tainan City.
GERRIDAE
In my childhood, in the countryside, after the rain, I would always see water striders in small puddles, commonly known as "water skaters," "water spiders," or "bean oil" (in Taiwanese dialect). They swiftly glide across the water's surface. Let's name our water skiing rope product after this, "GERRIDAE," as it is an apparatus for people to glide on the water's surface in a similar fashion.
